La banda danesa AQUA se dio cita el pasado 10 de diciembre del 2006 en el famosísimo programa "Good Evening Denmark" para hablar de sus futuros proyectos personales y musicales, en los cuales sorprendieron al público al decir que  no descartan reunirse como banda nuevamente.

También comentaron su ingreso a los Records Guines, como la banda danesa que mas disco ha vendido junto con el sencillo Barbie girl, como una de las canciones mas escuchadas en la historia de la historia de la música, por mantenerse aún entre las 20 favoritas del público de UK.

 

 Por otra parte se le incluirá también ya que son una de las bandas mas entrevistadas (2300 entrevistas), hacer 250 conciertos en vivo, y sacar 14 singles con solo 2 albunes (Aquarium-Aquarius)

en la ultima parte de la entrevista que le hicieron  anunciaron que  los cuatro con sus respectivas familias dejaran Europa para radicarse en Hollywood, donde René Y Lene estudiaran actuación y Soren y Claus seguirán haciendo música.

Aqua began in 1995 under the name of Joyspeed, and released the single "Itzy Bitzy Spider".
* When they were first named Aqua, Lene Nystrøm and René Dif were boyfriend and girlfriend.
* Aqua consisted of Lene Nystrøm, Søren Rasted, Claus Norreen and René Dif.
* Aqua got their big international break through the single "Barbie Girl" in 1997.
* "Barbie Girl" is still among the 20 best selling singles ever in the UK.
* Aqua existed for 5 years and managed to give 2300 interviews and play 220 concerts.
* Aqua, with 28 million records sold, are the best-selling Danish music group ever.
* Aqua released 14 singles and 2 albums- "Aquarium" and "Aquarius".
* As well as the two studio albums they also released a best-of, three remix albums and a live album.
* On the 14th august 2001 Aqua released a statement to the press stating that the band was splitting up.
* In the summer of 2005 the group got together again to make the documentary film "Turn Back Time". It was the first time that all the members had met up together since the dissolution of the band in 2001.
* The film was released in autumn 2005 by director Tomas Gislason.

Now all four of them (plus their children) will travel to the USA together for a couple of months. Lene and René both want to go to acting school, whilst Søren and Claus want to practise their old hobby of writing songs.
